Refactoring usages of renderer/utils/createStorage (#2280)
* - refactoring: usages of `renderer/utils/createStorage`
- refactoring: Sidebar, SidebarItem and MainLayout
- ux-fix: expanding sidebar by clicking to the arrow-icon (for consistency with compact mode where no sub-menus)
