Switch to EventEmitter (producer&consumer) model

- Main now broadcasts messages whenever updates are available and waits
  for the first response back

- Add `onCorrect` and `onceCorrect` to ipc module for typechecking ipc
  messages

- Correctly port styling from 3.6
